All About Chelsey
Chelsey Eiel is a Licensed Social Worker (LSW) at Spilove Psychotherapy who specializes in helping young adults and adults heal from trauma, anxiety, depression, and relational harm. She is especially passionate about supporting survivors of sexual violence, individuals navigating unhealthy relationship patterns, and emerging adults moving through life's many transitions.
Chelsey believes that so much of our suffering comes from the limiting beliefs and stories we carry about ourselves after painful experiences. Her work is centered on helping clients reconnect with their mind and body, recognize protective patterns, and gently release narratives rooted in shame. Through a grounded, collaborative approach, she helps clients rediscover their inner wisdom and reclaim a greater sense of agency, voice, and self-trust.
Drawing from EMDR, Internal Family Systems (Parts Work), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), DBT, Polyvagal Theory, Narrative Therapy, mindfulness, and somatic approaches, Chelsey creates therapy that is both experiential and deeply relational. As a creative writer, she also incorporates intentional writing practices into sessions, helping clients explore their inner world, identify patterns, process difficult emotions, and create new meaning from their experiences.
Whether you're recovering from relational trauma, navigating anxiety or depression, adjusting to adulthood, or searching for a soft place to land, Chelsey offers a warm, nonjudgmental space where healing happens through curiosity, connection, and the belief that you are not broken.

Chelsey takes a relational, trauma-informed, and experiential approach to therapy, tailoring each session to meet the unique needs and goals of every client. She incorporates:
Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) – Helps clients process traumatic experiences, reduce emotional distress, and build new pathways toward healing without feeling overwhelmed by the past.
Internal Family Systems (IFS) & Parts Work – Supports clients in understanding the different parts of themselves with curiosity and compassion, creating greater self-awareness, inner harmony, and self-trust.
Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) – Encourages clients to make room for difficult emotions while taking meaningful steps toward a life that reflects their values and authentic self.
Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) – Teaches practical skills for managing emotions, navigating relationships, tolerating distress, and responding to life's challenges with greater intention.
Narrative Therapy & Intentional Writing – Invites clients to explore the stories they've carried about themselves, recognize patterns rooted in shame or survival, and create new narratives through reflection, expression, and meaning-making.
Polyvagal Theory, Mindfulness & Somatic Awareness – Helps clients reconnect with their nervous system, strengthen the mind-body connection, and develop a greater sense of safety, presence, and regulation.
Chelsey's approach is warm, collaborative, and deeply relational. She believes healing happens through genuine connection, thoughtful exploration, and the courage to question the stories that no longer serve us. Together, she helps clients reconnect with their inner wisdom, reclaim their voice, and move toward a life rooted in greater agency, authenticity, and self-compassion.
