All About Lauren

Lauren brings a hopeful, curious, and grounded presence to therapy, with a genuine love for digging deep together. She believes there is beauty in everyone and that therapy can be a place where clients reconnect with parts of themselves that were quieted during survival mode. Her style is authentic, patient, and warm, often woven with humor when it feels supportive.

Lauren approaches therapy through a systemic lens, looking at individual concerns within the broader context of relationships, family dynamics, environments, and lived experiences. She is especially interested in what happens after survival. Once the nervous system softens and safety becomes possible, who do you want to become, both in response to and alongside what you have lived through?

Currently in her internship year at Thomas Jefferson University while completing her Master’s in Couples and Family Therapy, Lauren came to the field through education work. While supporting students and families, she noticed that many academic struggles were rooted in relational and emotional challenges rather than school itself. Seeking formal clinical training felt like a natural next step to do this work with more intention, depth, and care.

Lauren hopes clients experience therapy as a space that feels real and welcoming, where they can discover who they truly are and leave sessions with a growing sense of joy, self-love, and confidence in who they are becoming.

Who She Works With:

Lauren specializes in therapy for:

Young adults navigating identity exploration, life transitions, and self-definition.
Adolescents processing relationships, trauma, and emotional challenges.
Families working through relational stress, communication difficulties, and change.
✔ Clients exploring who they are beyond survival mode.
✔ Individuals seeking a fuller sense of self separate from trauma.

Lauren offers a supportive space where clients can reflect, grow, and reconnect with themselves and others in ways that feel flexible, empowering, and authentic.

  • Lauren approaches therapy through a systemic and relational lens, meaning concerns are explored within the broader context of relationships, family dynamics, environments, and lived experience. Therapy focuses not just on what is happening internally, but on how patterns were shaped and how they continue to show up in daily life.

Her work is grounded in the following approaches:

    • Systemic & Family-Based Therapy – Looks at individual challenges within the context of family systems, relationships, and social environments, helping clients understand how patterns developed and how they can shift.

    • Relational Therapy – Focuses on how clients relate to others and to themselves, with attention to communication, boundaries, and emotional connection.

    • Trauma-Informed Care – Supports clients impacted by trauma by moving at a steady pace and emphasizing safety, flexibility, and choice in the therapeutic process.

    • Identity-Exploratory Work – Creates space for clients to explore who they are beyond survival mode, supporting the development of a strong sense of self separate from trauma.

    • Collaborative, Client-Centered Therapy – Therapy is shaped alongside the client, honoring their goals, values, and lived experience, with warmth, curiosity, and authenticity guiding the work.

Lauren believes that when clients develop a fuller sense of self, they are better able to navigate challenges, embrace flexibility, and reconnect with joy. Therapy supports clients in building confidence, self-trust, and a deeper appreciation for who they are.
