All About Arti

Arti is a Licensed Social Worker (LSW) who believes that even in the midst of pain, joy and lightness can still be found. With a good sense of humor and a grounded presence, Arti is committed to helping clients reconnect with themselves in the here and now.

Drawing from Gestalt therapy, she approaches healing as a process that unfolds in the present moment—through increased awareness of your thoughts, emotions, body, and environment. Her work is rooted in curiosity, connection, and deep respect for each client’s inner wisdom.

Arti sees therapy as a collaborative journey. She believes that greater self-awareness fosters meaningful growth, healing, and empowerment. She hopes clients walk away with a more flexible view of themselves, deeper self-compassion, and the ability to cultivate more authentic, fulfilling relationships.

As a South Asian therapist, Arti is passionate about holding space that is affirming, inclusive, and culturally responsive—where all identities feel seen, heard, and valued. Her goal is to create a safe and supportive environment where clients can explore their inner world with honesty and intention.

Who She Works With

✔️ Individuals who are experiencing persistent feelings of anxiety or depression and are seeking a deeper understanding of their emotional landscape.
✔️ Clients moving through major life transitions—such as the loss of a loved one, changes in identity or role, or periods of uncertainty—helping them find steadiness amidst change.
✔️ Supporting individuals who are exploring their identities, including cultural, gender, or relational identities, and those who may feel caught between different parts of themselves or between different worlds.
✔️ Those who are carrying the weight of past trauma and are ready to begin the process of healing its lingering effects.

Whether you're navigating a specific challenge or feeling a more general sense of disconnection from yourself or others, Arti offers a nurturing space to be curious, go inward, and move toward meaningful change. She hopes clients walk away with a deeper sense of self-awareness—including insight into any inherited patterns of being—a more flexible and accepting view of themselves, and greater self-compassion for all their complex parts.

  • Arti believes that lasting change begins with deepening self-awareness and learning to relate to our present experience with compassion and curiosity.

    Her approach integrates:

    • Gestalt Therapy – Helps clients become more present and cultivate greater self-acceptance by bringing attention to what is happening in the here and now

    • Somatic Awareness – Explores how emotions are held in the body and to use that awareness as a tool for regulation and healing.

    • Attachment-Based Therapy – Examine how early relationships shape current emotional and relational patterns, and to support clients in building more secure and fulfilling connections.

    • Internal Family Systems (IFS) - Guides clients in reconnecting with the full spectrum of who they are.

Through a warm, collaborative process, Arti helps clients untangle the patterns that keep them feeling stuck, reconnect with their strengths, and move toward a more intentional and authentic way of living.
